FIFA 16: Chelsea’s player ratings revealed

Chelsea’s player ratings on FIFA 16 have been released ahead of the launch of the popular video games’ demo.

Five members of Jose Mourinho’s Premier League champions have claimed a place in the top 50.

Belgian forward Eden Hazard is, unsurprisingly, the man with the highest rating of all the Blues’ representatives. The 24-year-old has been awarded a rating of 89 and is closely followed by midfielder Cesc Fabregas on 87.

Both Diego Costa and Thibaut Courtois have been deemed worthy of a rating of 86 while captain John Terry has earned a respectable total of 85, despite his recent poor form.

Brazilian midfielder Oscar has claimed a rating of 84 along with central defender Gary Cahill. The England international is one point ahead of fellow defender Cesar Azpilicueta, but Branislav Ivanovic is the lowest ranked member of the west Londoners’ starting line up.

  • 2/10

    9. Thiago Silva – 88

The only defender to claim a place in the top 10; the Brazilian is a commanding presence in PSG’s backline.

  • 3/10

    8. Neymar – 88

The Brazilian still has his best years ahead of him. He was a crucial member of Barcelona’s front three last season and is only going to get better. Remember when people thought he was a one trick pony?

  • 4/10

    7. Zlatan Ibrahimovic – 89

The Swedish striker might be in the twilight years of his career yet he’s anything but over the hill. Still going strong at 33, the forward has the talent to back up his huge ego.

  • 5/10

    6. Eden Hazard – 89

The PFA Player of the Year claims sixth place after helping Jose Mourinho’s side cruise to the title. The Belgian glides past his opponents and, if he can add more goals to his game, could soon break into the top three.

  • 6/10

    5. Arjen Robben – 90

The Dutchman isn’t everybody’s cup of tea given how easy he goes to ground but he is a sensational talent. Expect to see him flying up and down the wing for Bayern Munich once again this season.

  • 7/10

    4. Manuel Neuer – 90

It is rare to see a goalkeeper lingering towards the top of the list, but the German shot stopper is simply at the peak of his profession. Impenetrable at times.

  • 8/10

    3. Luis Suarez – 90

The Uruguayan forward has slipped seamlessly into life at the Camp Nou. The 28-year-old will spend his peak years at the Catalan club and could soon be pushing further up into the nineties, if his discipline is controlled.

    2. Cristiano Ronaldo – 93

The Portuguese forward won’t like being second best. The Real Madrid talisman’s determination to strive for the best has made him one of the greatest players of all time. Don’t expect him to rest on his laurels. He’ll be after top spot next year.
