Everton ace issues rallying cry to his team-mates following Chelsea victory

It could have been so different had a Diego Costa effort that rolled along line after rounding Joel Robles gone in in the 58th minute.

But Costa’s biggest impact was his first red card in a Chelsea shirt and the fuss that followed.

He was deservedly given a second yellow for aggressively reacting to an 84th-minute challenge from Gareth Barry.

Barry denied afterwards that Costa had bitten him, despite what it looked like and followed him down the tunnel when he was sent off too.
